Version 0 of 1.

A baby killer and woman convicted of poisoning her son have been bound over to keep the peace after rowing at a probation hostel on Tyneside.

Danielle Wails, 21, is serving a community sentence after admitting the infanticide of her baby son Alexander Gallon in a house fire in 2005.

Gateshead magistrates heard how she and the 23-year-old who poisoning her baby with soap insulted each other.

They were arrested for breach of the peace and bound over on Thursday.

This is the second time Wails has been in trouble with the police since admitting killing her four-month-old son.

Endanger life

In November, a Newcastle Crown Court judge gave her a second chance after she breached her bail conditions just days after being given a three-year community order with supervision.

She admitted the infanticide of her son after experts said she was suffering from severe postnatal depression when she set fire to her home in Link Road, Cowgate, in Newcastle in 2005.

She had initially claimed that two men had broken into her home, tied her hands behind her back and started the fatal fire.

Her co-accused in the hostel dispute, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is serving a three-year community rehabilitation order imposed at Newcastle Crown Court in February last year.

She pleaded guilty to child cruelty and administering a noxious substance with intent to endanger life after force feeding her son liquid soap.
