Three charged over January death

Police have charged a 29-year-old man almost six months after the death of a young Edinburgh father.

Martyn Barclay, 26, was found unconscious with a gunshot wound to the head in Edinburgh's Hazelwood Grove on 17 January by a member of the public.

The Hibs fan was rushed to the city's Royal Infirmary but died the following day.

Two women, aged 31 and 60, were arrested and charged on Friday with offences in connection with the death.

All three were expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
