Orange hall is destroyed by fire Arson attacks on two Orange halls

An Orange hall in County Armagh has been destroyed in an overnight fire. A second Orange hall in County Armagh was attacked by arsonists overnight.
The Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to the Carrickawilkan Orange hall near Darkley at about 0100 BST on Friday. Police are investigating an attack on the Cladybeg hall on the Armagh Road in Newtownhamilton. Flammable liquid was sprayed over an outside wall.
It happened between 1830 BST on Thursday and 1130 BST on Friday. Scorch damage was caused to building.
The Carrickawilkan Orange Hall near Darkley was destroyed by fire on Friday morning. The Fire and Rescue Service were called to the blaze at 0100 BST.

The police are now investigating. Police are treating the fire as "malicious".
'Setback' In a statement from the Grand Lodge said the attacks were "attempts to create community tension".
Drew Nelson from the Orange Order said that hall was used by a small lodge of about 14 members. "We would appeal for calm from all our members and our supporters. The way to deal with these attacks is to work with the police and help them find the culprits," it said.
"I think our members will be very, very surprised at what's happened.
"It was burnt down in 1970 and rebuilt, and right through the Troubles there were really just Orange meetings in the hall.
"It was just during this last winter they held a dance in the hall as they've slowly regained confidence and tried to reopen it.
"It's a big setback for the Protestant community in that area," said Mr Nelson.
