Man shot in knees in flats attack

A man aged in his 20s is in hospital after being been shot in a paramilitary-style attack in west Belfast, the police have said.

He was shot in the knees and ankles in the communal hallway of a block of flats at South Link, Andersonstown, at about 2330 BST on Tuesday.

Police have said their inquiries into the attack are ongoing.

They have appealed for anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or has information to contact them.
