Firefighters tackle major blaze

Emergency crews have been dealing with a major fire which broke out at commercial premises in Paisley.

Firefighters were called to the blaze on Lacy Street in the town at about 1940 BST.

A spokeswoman for Strathclyde Fire and Rescue Service said 10 appliances were at the scene and that the building was well-alight.

The spokeswoman added that the blaze was "extremely large". There are no reports of any injuries.
