Eggbuckland Community College was unavailable for comment. Katrina Borowski, Principal of Eggbuckland Community College, said: "We are very sorry that Tom is leaving our college and wish him every success in his education, his diving and for the future."
Principal Katrina Borowski previously said that Daley's high profile had led to a "minority of students acting in an immature way towards him".
"Immediate action" had been taken to address the concerns.
She said the majority of pupils considered him "a credit" to the college.
