Arrest after 'beach sex attack'

A 20-year-old man has been arrested over an alleged serious sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl in Londonderry on Friday night.

It is said to have taken place sometime between 2200 and 2315 BST at the beach at Culmore Point.

It is understood a party was being held there.

The police have appealed for anyone with information, or who was at the party, to contact them.
