The Treasury named Haytham Ahmad Shukri Ahmad Al-Maghrabi as one of the original members of the Brazilian Al-Qaeda network. Awadd and another blacklisted individual, Ahmad Al-Khatib, were said to have owned furniture businesses in Sao Paulo, Brazil’s largest city.
