Man's death treated as suspicious

Police are investigating the death of a man who was found unconscious in a street in Dundee.

The man was found lying in the city's Brown Street at 0300 BST, Tayside Police said.

He was taken to Ninewells Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The street was cordoned off while investigations were carried out.

A spokeswoman for the force said the death was being treated as "suspicious".
