The judge told her boyfriend he would have to serve a minimum of 10 years for raping the two-year-old girl before he could be considered for parole. The atmosphere in their home allowed "a complete lack of care", with "a sickening and descending loss of personal responsibility", he said.

He said the boyfriend's rape of a two-year-old girl was a "massive breach of trust".
