Following the verdict, Lesley Thomson, area procurator fiscal for Glasgow, said the murder had shocked both Scotland and Greece. Following the verdict, Ms Pachou's father Yiannis said: "Myself and my sons would like to express a big thank you to police and those others involved."
Choking back tears, he added: "Sorry I'm very depressed. I was told from the very beginning it was such a clear case I couldn't be disappointed. Thank you."
Asked if 20 years was enough, Ms Pachou's brother Spiros shook his head and said: "No."
