"My friend was shaking his head and hissing," said Mr Sonnex.
"He was saying the words 'this is naughty, this is naughty'. I didn't say anything.
"I rushed past my friend and came to the other side of the bed, that's when I saw Gabriel Ferez. I froze. I looked at the body and just froze.
"I just wanted to get out of the place, just to wash myself."
Mr Sonnex said of his co-defendant: "He was out of his nut. He'd been taking a lot of drugs, and drinking a lot."
