An 18-year-old man from Toomebridge has admitting raping a schoolgirl last June. An 18-year-old Antrim man has pleaded guilty to having unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl aged under 14.
Eugene Devlin of McClorey Road admitted six charges including rape, gross indecency, and indecent assault of a girl under 14 years old. Eugene Devlin, of McCorley Road, Toomebridge, admitted the charge and five other sex offences at Antrim Crown Court in Ballymena.
On Monday, a co-accused, Ciaran McFall, 25, of Station Park, Toomebridge, pleaded guilty to gross indecency and indecent assault of the same girl. Devlin pleaded guilty to having unlawful carnal knowledge of the child on 22 June last year.
The men, who appeared before Antrim Crown Court, will be sentenced later. He also admitted three counts of gross indecency and two of indecent assault against the same girl.
They have both been ordered to sign the sex offenders' register. A co-accused, 25-year-old Ciaran McFall of Station Park, Toomebridge, pleaded guilty to gross indecency and indecent assault of the girl.
Both defendants will be sentenced on 30 June and both have been ordered to sign the sex offenders register.
