Teenager in court over Jack death

A second teenager has appeared in court charged with the culpable homicide of 10-year-old Jack Anderson in Edinburgh.

Patrick Nolan, 19, made a brief appearance in private on petition before Sheriff James Farrell at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.

He made no plea or declaration and the case was continued for further inquiry. Mr Nolan was remanded in custody.

Mr Nolan's court appearance follows the death of Jack Anderson in Saughton Road North on 5 October.

On 26 October, another 19-year old, Michael Purcell, appeared at the same court charged with culpable homicide.

He also made no plea and was remanded in custody.
