During the investigation into Mr Tussler's death, Sussex Police arrested and bailed a 54-year-old Fernhurst man on suspicion of illegally possessing a banned weapon.
Sussex Police said three officers involved in the shooting incident had been temporarily removed from operational duties, which was normal procedure.
