One of Northern Ireland's largest security companies has been fined after admitting it was guarding government offices and courts without a licence.

Maybin, which has since been named Resource, was fined £2,500 at Belfast Magistrates Court.

Maybin operated without a licence for 10 months.

The judge said it was a serious matter, but that she was "entirely satisfied" the lack of licence was due to administrative errors and oversights.
