Version 0 of 1.

A man officers wanted to question in connection with a suspicious death in County Durham has handed himself in.

Neil Jones, 28, a married father-of-one from the Bedfordshire area, was found dead at the property in West Chilton Terrace, Chilton, on Thursday.

A post-mortem examination failed to establish the cause of death, and the results of further tests are awaited.

Police were seeking a 21-year-old local man, who walked into Newton Aycliffe police station on Sunday afternoon.

Three men and a woman who were arrested earlier have since been released on police bail.

It is believed Mr Jones had earlier been to a party in nearby Dean Terrace.

More than 30 officers are involved in the ongoing investigation.
