Vandals in special school attack | Vandals in special school attack |
(30 minutes later) | |
Vandals have attacked a special school in Lurgan.
It happened overnight at Ceara School on the town's Sloan Street. The school's offices were ransacked and computers and money were stolen.
The school's principal, Dr Peter Cunningham, said he "could have cried" when he first saw the damage caused in the "despicable" attack.
"Our children have severe learning difficulties, they have done nothing to upset anyone," he said.
"These children come to school, they love the school - our funds are very tight at the best of times.
"Every penny that will have to be spent to replace what has been taken is money away from our children." |
