Two men aged 19 and 21, have died after a road accident in County Donegal. Two men, aged 19 and 21, have died after a road accident in Republic of Ireland.
The crash happened about a mile from Letterkenny on the main Londonderry road in the early hours of Sunday. The victims, who have been named locally as Gary McLaughlin and Darren Downey, were from the Burt area of County Donegal.
It is understood the driver lost control of the car which then struck a wall. No other vehicle was involved. Both men were from the Republic. The crash happened about a mile from Letterkenny, on the main Londonderry road in the early hours of Sunday.
Meanwhile, a man has been critically injured after a car left the A26 near Glarryford in County Antrim. Another man is being treated in hospital. It is understood the driver lost control of the car which then struck a wall. No other vehicle was involved.
It happened shortly before 0800 on Sunday.
Three other men travelling in the car did not require hospital treatment.
