Men bailed over prison shooting

Darcy Bruce, 20, from Fulham, west London, was shot dead outside Wandsworth Prison on Friday. It is thought he had been visiting an inmate when he was shot outside the prison gates in Heathfield Road. Three men, aged 19, 22 and 26, arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday were released on police bail on Saturday evening while inquiries continue. Mr Bruce, who died at the scene, suffered several gunshot wounds to his body. Two men wearing crash helmets were seen running away from the scene of the attack towards Alma Terrace after a series of gunshots were heard. Police said they were keeping an open mind as to the motive. |
