Outhouse body find is missing man

A body found in an outhouse in Ayrshire a fortnight ago has been formally identified as that of missing man Gregg Jackson.

The 27-year-old, from West Kilbride, was last seen on 25 June last year.

His case was featured on the BBC's Missing programme last month. Police said his relatives had been informed.

Forensic examinations were carried out after the body was discovered in a building on New Street, Stevenston on 16 April.
