A telecoms company is to create 50 jobs in south Belfast with the opening of a development centre. A total of 140 new jobs are to be created by two companies in Belfast and Londonderry.
Magdalene, based in St Ives, near Cambridge, already has offices at the Gasworks site off Ormeau Road. Home furnishings company Dunelm Mill is to create up to 80 jobs when it opens a 38,000 sq foot outlet on the Buncrana Road in Derry.
Magdalene and another telecoms company, Eircom, were recently awarded a £2m contract with NI Water to upgrade and maintain NI Water's internal network. Meanwhile, telecoms company Magdalene is to create 50 jobs at a development centre in south Belfast.
