A total of 27 cases of suspected swine flu in Scotland are being investigated, First Minister Alex Salmond has told parliament. The first Britons confirmed to have contracted swine flu have been released from hospital after recovering.
He also said there was one "probable" case in Glasgow, although Scotland has still only had two confirmed cases. Newly-wed couple Iain and Dawn Askham, from Polmont near Falkirk, were found to have the virus after returning from a trip to Mexico.
