Oil tank fires treated as arson Drugs and cash seized in raid
(3 days later)
Oil tanks in three neighbouring gardens have been burnt and two cars destroyed in Ballygowan, County Down. A "significant quantity" of class A drugs and cash has been seized in south Belfast, police have said.
Police said they were treating the fires early on Monday in the Meadow Road area as arson. The gardens of three houses were badly damaged. One man was arrested following the planned search of a house in the Lower Ormeau area on Friday.
The blaze was brought under control by 25 firefighters, who stopped it spreading to nearby houses.
Police appealed for anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area to contact them.

Graffiti is daubed on Orange hall Two cows rescued from slurry tank
An Orange hall has been attacked in County Antrim. Two cows have been rescued by fire crews after becoming trapped in a slurry tank in County Tyrone.
The police have said they have had a report of criminal damage at the hall at Main Street in Rasharkin. The animals, named Daisy and Mavis, became trapped in a tank at Tulnacross just outside Cookstown early on Friday.
Sectarian graffiti has been daubed on the walls of the hall. It is believed the attack happened at about 0300 BST on Sunday. A fire appliance from Cookstown, and a four-strong fire service animal rescue team helped rescue the cows.
The hall has been targeted several times in recent years, including a petrol bomb attack last month. It took more than two-and-a-half hours to free the animals using a telescopic handler and slings.
