A rescue operation has been launched after reports that three canoeists are trapped in a swollen north Wales river. A rescue operation has been launched to save three canoeists trapped on a swollen river.
There were reports that one of the canoeists was clinging to a bridge by one hand near Betws-y-Coed in Conwy. North Wales Fire Service say one of them is on a rock at the Conwy Falls near Betws-y-Coed and the other two are under a bridge.
