Version 0 of 1.

A lorry driver was crushed by his own vehicle after it rolled out of control and into a house in Leeds.

The 50-ton truck had been parked on the roadside when it veered into the house on the A65 in Rawdon on Friday.

Police said it was unclear why the lorry had rolled forward and why the driver, who was 44 and from Bury, Gtr Manchester, was in front of the house.

The building was not seriously damaged. Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The truck, which was carrying a crane, also hit a parked car.

A motorist, who was sitting in the car at the time, suffered a minor wrist injury.

The road was closed for several hours but has now reopened.
