The car was washed away in flood water after heavy rain in the early hours in Zennor, between St Ives and St Just. Devon and Cornwall Police said a man's body was found at about 0700 BST.
It is thought three people were in the car and police would like to speak to anyone who was in a green Volvo estate in the area on Friday night. Car submerged

The alarm was raised by a man who said he had managed to get out of the car before it was washed away, but three other people were unaccounted for.
About an hour later a green Volvo S70 saloon was found submerged and full of water.
The search is continuing and police have asked anyone involved in the incident, who may have left the scene, to contact them immediately.
