Anthea Turner has become the latest celebrity to be booted out of Hell's Kitchen after head chef Marco Pierre White said she had shown "no growth". The 48-year-old TV presenter was told by White she was "exactly the same the day you arrived". But the former Blue Peter host was praised for being "very consistent, clean and tidy". Her husband, property manager Grant Bovey, became the second celebrity to leave the show earlier this week. No ice Before her departure, Turner told White he had put her "a little bit on my back foot". "I honestly feel now that if I go today I will feel that I have let you down," she added. Her pleas cut no ice with the restaurateur, who sent her packing just as he did her husband and Shameless star Jody Latham. Former footballer Bruce Grobbelaar quit the show earlier this week as he was missing his family. Four celebrities remain in the show, which is due to finish on Monday. They are comedian Adrian Edmondson, model Danielle Bux, former Dynasty star Linda Evans and singer Niomi Daley, aka Ms Dynamite. |
