http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/rss/-/1/hi/england/essex/8013147.stm Version 0 of 1. Detectives are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of 14-year-old girl who was last seen on Sunday. Officers think Victoria Ayling, from Chelmsford, Essex, may be with Richard Lewis, 19, of Llanbradach, Caerphilly, who has also been reported missing. Victoria was last seen in bed at 0400 BST on Sunday at her family's home at Henniker Gate, Chelmsford. Police said she contacted Mr Lewis on the Bebo social networking website and he had visited her in Essex. Richard Lewis went missing on Friday Police inquiries have revealed that Victoria had been researching campsites in Scotland and also how to avoid being traced. Victoria is described as 5ft 4in (1.6m) tall with long blond hair. She has braces on her upper and lower teeth. Mr Lewis has a white Vauxhall Astra van, which is customised with alloy wheels and a tinted rear window, with the registration Y 543 NAR. The couple may be in this vehicle, said the police. Police are particularly appealing to owners and operators of campsites to check for the Astra van or anyone matching the descriptions of Victoria or Mr Lewis. |
