Soldier in court for manslaughter

A Household Cavalry soldier has appeared in court charged with the manslaughter of a father-of-two who died after a fight in Norwich. Trooper Daniel Gooda, 26, who is based at barracks in Windsor, Berkshire, did not enter any plea at the hearing at Norwich Crown Court. Timothy Moore, 30, from Norwich, died from head injuries after the fight outside Sing Sing bar on March 28. The hearing was adjourned until 9 June and Gooda was released on bail. Gooda is also accused of affray and assaulting a policeman. He did not enter any plea on these charges. |
