Fire crews have been fighting a grass fire which has spread across 3km (1.8 miles) in the Cambrian mountains, mid Wales, for more than 18 hours.

Firefighters were called to the blaze above Tregaron and Llanddewi Brefi, Ceredigion, on Monday at 1620 BST.

Three pumps and two Land Rovers were brought in to tackle the blaze covering the remote hillside area.

Mid and West Wales Fire Service said they had tackled a series of grass fires in recent weeks.
