Six charged with drug offences Four in court on drugs charges

Six people have been charged with a number of drug offences following a police operation in the greater Belfast area. Four people have appeared in Belfast magistrates court charged with offences in relation to the possession and supply of class A drugs.
Police said five men and a woman had been charged with offences in relation to the possession and supply of class A drugs. The three men and a woman were arrested yesterday following searches in greater Belfast.
They are due to appear at court in Belfast on Friday. The court heard that the charges relate to an undercover police operation at the Mynt nightclub in Belfast on three weekends between January and March.
Earlier on Thursday police had searched several premises including the Mynt nightclub on Dunbar Link. Another man will appear in court on Friday afternoon.
The suspects are aged between 21 and 36. The court heard that the police operation targeted the supply of cocaine and ecstasy.
