Ipswich Crown Court heard the pastry chef vandalised the Ferrari after seeing the star with a girl to whom he had an "emotional attachment".
It heard Billington might also have been angry at being "mocked" for his stutter.
Christopher Morgan, mitigating, said Billington inflicted nearly £10,000 worth of damage to the vehicle after seeing the girl go to the star's hotel room.
Billington was jailed for a total of 20 weeks after admitting failing to answer bail and leaving bed and breakfast accommodation and an Indian restaurant without paying, as well as the criminal damage charge.
