Staff suspended in e-mail inquiry

The suspended workers are believed to work in separate departments at County Hall in Preston. An investigation is under way into the communication, and is centring on allegedly racist content. The council's leader Hazel Harding says the authority is following its normal procedures in suspending the staff pending the investigation. |
