The death of an 80-year-old man is being investigated by police in Omagh, County Tyrone. The death of an Omagh pensioner is now being treated as murder, police have confirmed.
It is understood his body was discovered following a burglary in the Brook Valley area of the town. The 78-year-old's body was discovered at Brook Valley in the County Tyrone town at about 0130 BST on Saturday.
Two teenagers questioned about the burglary have been released without charge. A 16-year-old male and an 18-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the murder.
A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out on Sunday, the police said. The two teenagers were initially arrested on suspicion of burglary. They were subsequently released but then rearrested.
"Details about the man's injuries and the circumstances of the incident are not available for investigative reasons," said a police spokeswoman.
