One person has died after a road crash involving three vehicles in Carmarthenshire on Friday night.

Mid and West Wales Fire Service said it was called to the collision on the A48 eastbound carriageway between Cwmgwili and the Pont Abraham roundabout.

Crews were called to help free the victim from the wreckage.

The incident happened at about 1120 BST and the road was closed for a time. No-one else was seriously injured in the crash.
