Cannabis worth an estimated £700,000 was seized during a police operation in east Belfast on Friday morning, a PSNI spokesman has said. Five men have been charged with drugs offences after the seizure of cannabis worth an estimated £700,000 in east Belfast on Friday morning.
The operation took place at the Holywood Exchange retail park. The drugs were recovered along with cash and three cars during a police operation at the Holywood Exchange retail park.
Two men, aged 26 and 27, have been charged with possession of a class B drug and possession with intent to supply. All five men have been charged with possession of a class b drug and possession with intent to supply.
Three other men - two aged 40 and one aged 21 - are still being questioned by the police. Two of the men are aged 40, one is 27, one 26 and the fifth 21.
