Police there have linked the discovery of part of an arm in Wheathampstead on Monday with a leg found in nearby Cottered on 22 March. A leg was found in a green hold-all in a lay-by near Cottered on Sunday 22 March and part of an arm was found on farmland in nearby Wheathampstead a week later.
Tests carried out on the leg established the man was between 5ft 6ins and 5ft 10ins tall.
He is believed to have been white or Asian, but his DNA profile did not match any held on the National DNA Database.
