Probe after Dutch canal body find

Police in the Republic and their Dutch counterparts are investigating the murder of an Irishman whose dismembered body was found in Amsterdam. The remains of Keith Ennis, originially from the Walkinstown area of Dublin, were discovered in a canal in the Dutch capital three weeks ago. Irish police said the 30-year-old was facing drugs and firearms charges in Dublin when he absconded. They and Dutch police are now trying to establish where he was killed. Mr Ennis was only identified through his DNA and fingerprints. |
