A cargo plane has crash-landed and burst into flames near Tokyo, Japanese media report. A cargo plane has crash-landed and burst into flames near Tokyo.
Reports say the accident happened at the main Narita international airport on Monday morning local time. The accident happened as the plane landed at Narita international airport from Guangzhou in China.
So far there has been no news of any casualties. Japan's NHK public broadcaster showed a dramatic footage of the plane landing, bouncing and then bursting into flames on Monday morning local time.
Japan's NHK public broadcaster reported that the plane was a Federal Express Corp flight. It said one runway at Narita was closed after the accident. A pilot and co-pilot were reportedly aboard the Federal Express jet, but there is no news on their condition or any other casualties.
Firefighters rushed to the scene of the crash.
