The police have been granted more time to question three men in connection with the murder of two soldiers in Northern Ireland. Police investigating three dissident republican murders in Northern Ireland have been granted more time to question suspects.
Sappers Mark Quinsey, 23, and Patrick Azimkar, 21, were shot as they collected a pizza delivery at Massereene Army barracks in Antrim. The PSNI have been given an extra seven days to question a man and a woman over the murder of Constable Stephen Carroll in County Armagh.
He was shot dead by the Continuity IRA. Seven people are now being questioned.
Meanwhile, detectives have been granted more time to question four people over the murder of two soldiers in Antrim.
