Colleagues paid tribute to Sgt Rees, known to friends as Mave, who leaves behind his fiancee, Jayne, and two children, aged 11 and seven. | |
His commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel Richard Nixon-Eckersall, saidserving with the soldier was a privilege. | |
"A consummate professional; he led his men with flair and took great pride in ensuring that they wanted fornothing," he said. | |
