“Notable revisions to the forecast include the one for India (2.7 percentage points for 2021 [FY22]), reflecting carryover from a stronger-than-expected recovery in 2020, after lockdowns were eased,” said the IMF in its global outlook report.“Notable revisions to the forecast include the one for India (2.7 percentage points for 2021 [FY22]), reflecting carryover from a stronger-than-expected recovery in 2020, after lockdowns were eased,” said the IMF in its global outlook report.

The bounce-back in the nation’s economic growth will be largely led by continued improvement in consumption, stronger global growth, success in rolling out a Covid-19 vaccine, and the focus on growth supportive reforms, said UBS.The bounce-back in the nation’s economic growth will be largely led by continued improvement in consumption, stronger global growth, success in rolling out a Covid-19 vaccine, and the focus on growth supportive reforms, said UBS.
