Version 0 of 1.

A woman snatched from a south London launderette and bundled into a car may have been abducted by a criminal gang, police have said.

Adrianna Rostas, 18, was with her sister-in-law when they argued with two men in Beulah Road, Thornton Heath, at 1800 GMT on 26 February.

Her sister-in-law escaped but Miss Rostas was taken in the blue Peugeot.

There have been sightings of Miss Rostas in Swansea, Leicester, Croydon and Hackney but she has not been found.

'Extremely concerned'

Miss Rostas is originally from Romania and has lived in Croydon, south London, for the past eight years.

Officers are investigating whether she was abducted by members of a gang over a family dispute.

Det Ch Insp Robin Bhairam said: "We are extremely concerned for Adrianna's welfare and there is no clear reason why she should be targeted in this manner."

She is 5ft (1.5m) tall, with black shoulder-length hair and a scar in the middle of her forehead.

Miss Rostas was wearing a black or dark blue ankle-length skirt, a white T-shirt and gold hoop earrings at the time of the incident.
