Mall guard death 'not suspicious'

The death of a security guard at a Newtownabbey shopping centre on Sunday is no longer being treated as suspicious, police have said.

Two youths who were arrested have been released.

The incident occurred at about 1400 GMT when staff at Toymaster in the Abbey Centre said two youths entered the store and attempted to steal sweets.

Staff handed the youths over to the security guard who collapsed and died shortly afterwards.

The youths who were arrested were released while reports on other alleged offences are sent to the DPP.
