Police are investigating the death of a man at a shopping centre in County Antrim. Police are investigating the death of a security guard at the Abbey Centre shopping mall on the outskirts of north Belfast on Sunday.
It is understood the man was a security guard in the Abbey Centre at Newtownabbey on the outskirts of north Belfast. The incident occurred at about 1400 GMT when staff at Toymaster said two youths entered the store and attempted to steal bags of sweets.
The incident happened at about 1400 GMT on Sunday. Staff handed the youths over to the security guard, who collapsed shortly afterwards.
A police spokesperson said two youths were helping with inquiries into the incident. Police said two youths were assisting them with their enquiries.
