A helicopter, a luxury villa and a Bentley car have been recovered from a County Armagh businessman by the Serious Organised Crime Agency. The Serious Organised Crime Agency has taken assets worth £3m from a County Armagh businessman.
They were included in an order granted against Mark Niall McKinney, Beverley McKinney and a transport company A helicopter, a villa in Spain and a Bentley car were among the assets taken from Mark Niall McKinney.
SOCA said Mr McKinney derived the majority of his assets through money-laundering, fraud and illegal trading. The agency alleges most of McKinney's income was derived from illegal activity.
Other assets recovered included a family home, bank accounts, property, cars, a caravan and a boat. The agency took civil proceedings against Mr McKinney and his wife, Beverley Suzanne McKinney of Woodlands Manor in Portadown.
Mr McKinney agreed to settle the proceedings.
