A television reconstruction of an arson attack that killed a three-year-old girl in Liverpool received a good response from the public, police say. Police received 34 calls - two of them naming the same person - after a TV reconstruction of an arson attack in which a girl of three died.

Thirty-four calls were taken by police after an appeal on BBC Crimewatch on Thursday night. BBC Crimewatch featured interviews with her father and brother.
Detectives said they were given some "good information" among the calls. Police said:"We had two important calls with the name of a person who we think might be a suspect."

Det Supt Dave Kelly, who is leading the investigation, had described previous responses to the murder inquiry as "disappointing".
