Environment Minister Sammy Wilson is to go before his Stormont committee later. The government is promoting the idea climate change is man-made to justify high taxes, the environment minister has said.
It will be the first time the minister has appeared in front of his committee since it passed a vote of no confidence in him. Sammy Wilson was appearing before a session of the Assembly Environment Committee which passed a vote of no confidence in him in January.

Mr Wilson, who does not believe that climate change is man-made, said the advertisement was part of an "insidious propaganda campaign". Mr Wilson has said he does not believe that climate change is man-made.
Some members of the committee said Mr Wilson's views were not consistent with those of the executive. "I can understand why they (the government) want to get this subliminal message over," he told the committee.
The no confidence motion was passed by six votes to four, with one abstention. "That's the only way the government is going to succeed in getting people to accept the draconian levels of taxation which are coming down the road.
"The draconian increases in energy prices, the restrictions on air travel and all of the other plethora of policies."
