Version 0 of 1.

A City banker has appeared at the Old Bailey accused of killing his wife, who was found strangled in north London.

Neil Ellerbeck, 46, who worked at HSBC's Canary Wharf headquarters, entered a plea of not guilty to murder.

The body of Katherine Ellerbeck, 46, was found at the couple's home in Canford Close, Enfield, last November.

Mr Ellerbeck was an asset management executive at HSBC. He has been remanded in custody until his trial on 10 August.

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of Mrs Ellerbeck's death as asphyxiation due to strangulation.
